Every year since the turn of the century. Hunters & Frankau have set aside a number of particularly noteworthy boxes of Havana cigars for ageing. They have been carefully stored in their warehouse under perfect conditions of temperature and humidity, overseen by our Warehouse Manager.
Today, these highly sought-after cigars form an exceptional collection known as Hunters & Frankau's House Reserve.
All cigars released under the House Reserve banner share two defining aspects of provenance: first, they were entirely handmade in Cuba under the auspices of Habanos S.A.; and second, they have remained within Hunters & Frankau's warehouse ever since their arrival in Britain.
Befitting the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the AITS, Hunters & Frankau is pleased to present their latest special selection of cigars from our House Reserve. This Aged & Rare collection consists of cigars that have been matured for a minimum of ten years. Every box is marked with a 10+, 15+, or 20+ designation to indicate the number of years since the cigars were rolled, boxed, and dispatched fromthe factories of Cuba.
Some of the releases featured in this collection are distinguished by additional characteristics, including first releases, discontinued lines, regional editions, and limited editions.
Before any box is released from House Reserve, every cigar is individually inspected by fully trained quality technicians, and each box is stamped "Revisado," meaning "Checked."A Release Certificate, signed by our Warehouse Manager, is affixed to the outside of every box, confirming the date of manufacture in Cuba, the date of release from House Reserve, and the rarity categories applicable to its contents. Finally, each individual cigar is adorned with a foot band confirming that it is part of the Aged & Rare collection from Hunters & Frankau's House Reserve.
